Physics Department

Mission Statement

The Department of Physics offers a major in Physics. The main objectives of this program are twofold: to provide students with a clear and logical presentation of the basic concepts and principles of physics, and to strengthen their understanding of the concepts and principles through a broad range of interesting applications to the real world. The Physics Department provides the opportunity for all science students to join the program toward a major in Physics. To earn this major, students are required to successfully complete all of the relevant courses listed below.
